Welcome. In today's busy world trying to balance school, family and work, the first thing to suffer is our well-being. We are a diverse population with a variety of needs in our diet, exercise, and everyday activities. Educating ourselves on the importance of personal wellness is the first step in maintaining a balanced and healthy life. By enrolling in one of my classes, I can help you achieve a better understanding of how your body works, how social issues affect your health and heighten your awareness for a healthy lifestyle. I teach Women's Health Issues and Multicultural Health Education. I received a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science (1989) and a Master of Science in Wellness Management (1994) from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. I am a certified Health and Fitness Instructor and Certified Spinning Instructor. |
