I work primarily with the TI-84 Plus graphing calculators. My philosophical position is that the graphing calculator is an educational tool that should be used, when applicable, to enhance the learning of mathematics, but should not be used in any way that replaces the student's role in learning or critical thinking..

I have developed online tutorials for using the TI-83 or TI-84 within a College Algebra, Trigonometry, or Precalculus course (all available on CD-ROM also). If you have one of these models, I encourage you to investigate the tutorials. They should be especially helpful to those having limited experience with the TI-83/TI-84 or with graphing calculators in general.

I have also written some programs that I use in various math courses. Choose a link (at left) for a list of programs available for the model shown. These programs can be downloaded onto your calculator using the TI-Connect software and cable. TI-Connect can be downloaded at no cost from the Texas Instruments web site, and cables can be purchased in many stores (Staples, Office Depot, etc).
